Warranty Coverage
We offer our clients with a 1 year warranty.
Warranty covers the following:
- Fabrication Defects:Any imperfections or defects in the stone material caused by improper cutting, finishing, or shaping during the fabrication process.
- Installation Defects:Issues arising from the installation process, including but not limited to improper leveling, attachment, or alignment of stone surfaces.
- Cracking:Cracks in the stone material caused by improper handling or installation.
- Seams:Seams that do not align properly or are excessively visible due to improper fabrication or installation techniques.
- Adhesion:Stone surfaces that are not securely affixed to the supporting structure (e.g., countertop or wall).
- Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage due to misuse, accidents, or neglect: This includes, but is not limited to, chips, cracks, or damage caused by dropping objects, using harsh chemicals, or improper cleaning.
- Natural variations in stone: Stone is a natural material, and color, texture, and pattern variations are inherent. These variations are not considered defects.
- Wear and tear: Normal wear and tear, including surface scratches or discoloration due to improper maintenance or use.
- Improper maintenance: The warranty does not cover damage from failure to follow proper maintenance guidelines.
- Structural damage: Issues such as damage due to shifts in the structure of the building, settling foundations, or moisture-related issues (e.g., mold or mildew growth) are not covered.
- Customer Responsibilities
- Care and Maintenance:The customer agrees to follow the recommended care and maintenance guidelines provided by stone vendor to preserve the appearance and structural integrity of the stone.
- Prompt Reporting:The customer must report any warranty claims to Quintal’s Granite as soon as defects are noticed, within the warranty period. Delayed claims may not be covered.
